Earthshine build a Bridge To Infinity

Earthshine have announced their eight’ release: Bridge To Infinity. Coming September 29, the soothing instrumental electronic music project will start its journey. As Peter says:

“A lot of music was written in the past 2 years. But it wasn’t until a theme stuck in my mind, that I was able to find the right moods for the eight’ album under the Earthshine moniker. So I ditched a number of tracks and, based on the new found direction, set out to write the songs presented here. As usual the music is purely electronic. Name it what you want, but for me it is almost therapeutic to do, so I hope it works for you too. This is an imaginary trip, leaving earth, crossing our solar system and then travel into the great unknown…

Enjoy the flight”

Preceeding the 9 track album is a video for Into The Unknown:

It’s been a while since we added new reviews here. And yes, a bunch of last years writings will be missing. But for now let’s try to inform you about what critcs all around had to say about our releases:

  • Pete’s rock news writes about Aeons In Solitude: ““Mourning Cloak” debut is a very promising work. It is intended for the open minded fans of doom metal and gothic metal, but fans of gothic rock and progressive rock/metal will find interest in it. The album’s sweet melancholy and goth vibes reveal the darker shades of human behaviour and psychology. We impatiently await for their next work.”
  • Basbayiannis writes about Phil Vincent’s Today Tomorrow Yesterday: “Surprising uplifting and fresh sounding,… a truly remarkable album”
  • The Mayfair Mall Zine has written more favourable reviews, now for Tragik’s  Faith Healer and for D’Ercole’s Hard Core: “smashing stuff”. Oh and find a heartwarming reaction to Phil’s TTY album there too!
  • Your Music Blog on Legion’s Redemption: “another great album that will not need much time winning you over.”
  • Another “Recommended” from ViriAOR for Phil’s TTY album
  • Get Ready To Rock think Tragik’s Faith Healer is: “Quite possibly the band’s best outing to date and one to play loud, enjoy and forget about all the crap going on in the world right now. ****”
  • Dutch site Rockportaal compliment is that “fans of last century’s rock music will find much to their delight” in regard to Legion, Phil and Tragik
  • Also Strutter reports on Legion, Tragik and Phil’s solo offering in one go. All points are above an 8 so we do not complain!
  • a whopping 4 3/4 (out of 5) stars for Legion from Dmitry at DMME
  • a nice read from The Rocker on Phil: “At least you know where you are with one of his albums, an increasingly rare thing in a fragile world.”

New Age Of Aquarius album

age of aquarius - out thereMarch 3 will see the relese of the second album by Age Of Aquarius: … Out There …

After exploring the changes we were bound to experience in this Age Of Aquarius on their 2017 debut Dawn Of The Age Of Aquarius, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Peter Cox and singer Nakoma Z are back with their second effort: … Out There…
With music building on their progressive and rock music roots, yet with a healthy dose of pop melodies thrown in for good measure, the duo are back with a vengeance and deliver 10 compelling songs that discuss various UFO / Alien topics. Sometimes tongue in cheek, sometimes serious, sometimes… well find out for yourself.

With the album taking more time than originally anticipated, Peter and Nakoma Z experienced first hand that changes can come unexpectedly. These changes also opened the door for Peter to add voices and vocals. Parts of the in between storytelling were inspired by documentaries on the subject.

Age Of Aquarius:

Nakoma Z: vocals, lyrics for 1, 2, 3, 7 and 9

Peter Cox: all songs, additional vocals and voices, all instruments and programming, words and lyrics for 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 10

Recorded, mixed and mastered by Peter at Down The Road NL

Nakoma Z recorded her vocals in the USA.

New D’Ercole album

D'Ercole - Hard Core frontRock Company are proud to announce their 50th release. And even more so since it is the new D’Ercole album Hard Core!

D’Ercole release their brand new opus “Hard Core” in February 2021 on Rock Company Records. Packed with 10 songs of hard melodic rock, this album sets the bar for hook-laden, guitar heavy, melodic music. Mastered by Jacob Hansen, these songs pack the punch you would expect from their discography. From the crunching tones of opener “Keep it All Together” to the Thin Lizzy meets Foreigner “This is Your Life”, to the sheer AOR class of “Bringing Me Down”, all the way to massive closer “The Only One”, “Hard Core” will satisfy even the most discerning listener. Add to that , lead guitar by Legion partner Vince O’Regan and this is a must have for any fan of Winger, Pretty Maids, Dokken, Boston, Foreigner and Thin Lizzy.

Release: February 3, 2021. Pre-order now at a reduced price, shipping starts soon!
