April Rock Chart success

2017 04 Top 30 Rock Chart. It has happened. It was bound to. Yes, believe it or not, but after 5 amazing months on top of the list, Forest Field had to give up on the #1 spot and landed on position 4. Congratulations to the excellent The Soul Exchange and their great album Bloodbound for taking over!
And for the third month in a row, we find the Dawn Of The Age Of Aquarius album from Age Of Aquarius on #3! That in a way is rather unique too.

Another surprise is Cranston finding their way UP again, #14 this month. And nice to see another project from singer Phil Vincent, D’Ercole, land the #18 spot.

Last but not least for us are Sixtynine taking the number 24 with their rocking You Are Me album.

Congrats to the artists and thank you to the presenters and listeners of One World Music Radio!

More Rock Chart success!

2017 03 rock chartFor an incredible fifth month in a row, Forest Field’s Lonely Desert album is topping the One World Music Rock Chart top 30. Rumour has it that is a record. But truth or not, it is an amazing achievement. And besides that, Age Of Aquarius secured position 3 for the second time in a row after entering there the previous month. Sixtynine and Cranston are also still in the list, at 7 and 25 respectively.

So it is safe to say that it has been another successful month of airplay at the station. Thanks to all involved!

Introducing Age Of Aquarius

age-of-aquariusWe would like to introduce you to our new project Age Of Aquarius!

We are in the Age Of Aquarius  and it was never about fluffy bunny rabbits, unicorns and walking around in wifty wafty clothes’… It’s about great changes and destruction of the old, which will eventually bring birth to the new.
Uranus, God of the sky and the heavens, is the ruler of Aquarius. Destruction & Change being the key parts of this sign – which then awakens new thinking, creativity and brings people back to life.  In Astrology, the energies of Uranus are electric and crammed with change. Uranus is forward-looking. It balks at tradition, and celebrates originality and individuality. And Aquarius empties the vessel of the old, in order to refill it with new fresh waters.

And here we have 2 Aquarians taking on the challenge of bringing something new to the table. Original and fresh. On instruments we have Dutchmen Peter Cox (Forest Field, Earthshine), who also wrote the songs. All vocals are provided by the lovely Zoe Ehinger, born and raised in England, but now a resident of the USA. Heavily influenced by Astrology and the mysteries of this and other worlds, Zoe rewrote  the lyrics to express her feelings on the topics at hand.
