German metal site Crossfire have been busy writing about our artists.

They really liked the Holly Montgomery album. It ended with an 8 out of 10 score with the main complaint being it was too short. Well, we would love to hear more of this awesome artist too, so it is a great review. You can find that here.

The next album to get a feature is the Dawn Of The Age Of Aquarius album by, well Age Of Aquarius of course. Even when it ended with a 6/10 score, the words only seem to contain positives. Well, we are happy that Markus took the time to listen to it carefully, which is what the album needs and deserves! You can find it here.

And the last album is The Ocean Of Unspoken Words from Sunrise Auranaut. Alas the reviewer did not like it much. But maybe an instrumental progressive rock album is just too much for a metalzine? You can find it here.

New Rock Company podcast

As you may have noticed, here at Rock Company we like to keep busy. So slowly but surely the number of titles available from us is rising! All independent artists, who need your support. Hugs and kudos for everyone who buys an album (often limited editions) or download!   • Sixtynine – Good Trade.

And also our distribution artist Holly Montgomery is nominated with the title track of her album Leaving Eden.

The first ever OMWR Rock Chart

omwr-rockchart-2016-09September saw the first ever One World Music Rock Top 30 chart. And it has turned out to be quite a success for Rock Company and it’s releases. The list:

  5. Docker’s Guild – The Heisenberg Diaries Book A – Sounds of Future Past #4
  6. And to top things, our newly added distribution title Holly Montgomery – Leaving Eden, scored the #1 position!

Our little company is very happy with this achievement for all the artists involved and thanks all the listeners and the whole of the OMWR team for their help!

new titles!

forest field - lonely desertCurrently we are preparing the press packs for the new album by Forest Field! It is called Lonely Desert and it is a must for people who like the music of bands like Styx or Kansas. Release date is set for October 21, but a pre order will open soon on www.rockcompany.nl. On board are 10 tracks, ranging from 3 to 15 minutes. As usual the release will be a limited edition digi and includes a booklet with all the lyrics too.

After the award winning Angels? album (best Rock album of 2015 on One World Music Radio), Forest Field just dived in with eyes closed and set out to make an even more exciting album. Loosely based on the Dune saga from Frank Herbert and other science fiction topics, Lonely Desert raises the bar even further. From instrumental tracks, to the epic Fear, the band bring their trademark melodies, harmonies and impressive guitar work to the next level. Let alone the beautiful art from the famous Blekkmark Design Studio…
